Thariode
Thariode tells the story of gold mining in Thariode, one of the most ancient cities in a long, narrow coastline on the southwestern shoreline of the mainland Indian subcontinent called Malabar. Along with the accounts of Thariode, the film also explores the history of gold mining in the other areas of the Malabar district, which, in the 19th century, was part of the Madras Presidency in British India. Moreover, the film analyses the impact that gold mining - still one of the dirtiest industries in the world - had on the development of the country, the local livelihoods, and the environmental repercussions on nature and the territory. The film also discusses the current feasibility of gold mining in Thariode town, which was evacuated in order to create the reservoir for the Banasura Sagar dam.

Domestic Dialogues
Domestic Dialogues is a realistic visual representation of a day-to-day happenings of a typical Kerala household. The narration is in a non- linear mode and contains social criticism and black humor. The dialogues happen between the central character Anoop, his family and a close friend, in a day's span. The story progresses through the conversation of four characters and pinpoints the the patriarchal and hypocritical attitude of the males in Kerala. Anoop is newly married and he never hesitates to follow the same old stereotypical behavioral patterns of his father, by and large, the pretentious society. The movie depicts the transformation of the characters when they move from public to private space and when they address different persons on the same day. Anoop is a typical representative of the ostentatious Kerala males and when the camera moves from the veranda to the living room, kitchen, bedroom and finally to the bathroom, the egoistic and faulty inner self of a person is revealed, which is a slice of the contemporary society in Kerala.

decreases and there is a shortage of food . Thus all the living beings in the forest forgot the unity and equality within themselves. They started fighting at each other and left the forest at last .
Over the time , an old man who comes in that way sees the destruction of forest by deers . He decides to bring 2 dholes from
the east side of the forest that he already crossed and he left those here .

Mannu : Sprouts Of Endurance
The Munnar Plantation Strike in 2015 was a labour strike organized by the women plantation workers in tea estates of Kerala (India) obviating the existing trade unions from syndicating the movement, which resulted in the formation of a labour organization called Pempilai Orumai ( Women’s Unity). The plantation workers are often meted out discrimination on the basis of language besides caste and thus feel alienated. Most of them belong to the backward community and were brought to the plantation estates by the British during pre-independence period. Being the cheapest, but productive, women’s labour is the bedrock of economy of production. The agitation led by the women plantation workers in Munnar, was an attempt to demarcate the economical and gender disparities in plantation sector. This documentary is an attempt to measure the gradient of demands corroborated by women workers, taking stock of the pursuance of movement in a political dimension and also an enterprise to berth the life of plantation workers in Munnar.
The film chronicles the encroachment of vast stretches of a hilly land, the eviction of its rightful owners, the blatant exploitation of the laborers and their struggle for existence. It does not confine itself in narrating the evolution and impact of a labor struggle, but also focuses on another important social aspect in India, the significance of caste, the strangle hold it exerts on the psyche of the nation. The documentary holds its mirror to the dichotomy of underlying neglect and discrimination meted out to the hapless people belonging to the lower echelons of society. It explores the ruthless impact of policies on the 'land' and 'soil', its uneven distribution and the resultant irreparable and long standing damage it causes to the environment and fragile terrain, which is abound with precious flora and fauna.

Kuttippuram Palam (Kuttippuram Bridge)
This film tries to reveal a day in the lives of -a medical representative commutes
across the Kuttippuram Bridge,a photographer taking the shots of the river, a man
distributing mineral water on the banks of the river.
Bharathappuzha or Perar is the longest river in Kerala. Edassery Govindan Nair
wrote the poem Kuttippuram Palam (Kuttippuram Bridge) in 1963 when a bridge
was built across the river. In the poem, he shared the anxieties about modernity and
mechanization and foretold the death of the river and the river born culture. This
film is not an adaptation or a retelling of the poem, but certainly inspired by it.
This is dedicated at the footprints of the poet who foresaw Time.

MARAVI (LOST)
A retired policeman disappears from home. His daughter and her boyfriend go searching for him. As the story unfolds through beautiful Keralan landscapes, hidden memories which have haunted him begin to surface.
But more than the story itself, the filmmakers have tried to create a movie with a series of metaphors, both visual and verbal. The tree which sprouts out of a hard rock; fish swishing uneasily in a bowl; snails (like forgotten memories) crawling out of a pot etc are just some examples.

Avalkkoppam (With Her)
With Her centres on the interior life of a girl who passes through love, marriage, married life and divorce. Five characters: a daughter, her father, mother, lover, a residents’ association president carry the societal and familial images of honour and dishonour throughout life. Five characters develop in five scenes, each in a single shot with dialogues between two characters. Borrowing the dramatic technic of using the same space differently, the movie uses minimum space and limited number of characters to complete the narrative. The minimalist approach presents city and sea by the use of only sound and there is no background music in this film.
The appearance of two actors representing the mainstream cinema and independent cinema respectively, in the same get- up of their well known characters gives this film and the characters an augmented dimension and intertextuality. An important scene in the film is inspired by the short story Ucha Mazhayile Thumpikal (Dragonflies in the Noon Rain) written by the eminent young Malayalam writer P V Shajikumar.

The film Randuper Chumbikkumbol (When two Kiss) is conceived on the background of Kiss of Love Protest that started in Kerala in 2014 and partially spread to other states of India later. Kiss of Love started as a protest against moral policing. The film wants to reveal the social circumstances that necessitated such a protest. An intruder, in his mobile shoots the scene of a pair of lovers hugging on a beach. He tries to blackmail them. The film is around the theme of hegemonic sexual morality’s potential to determine the nature of relationships and its intervention in personal relationships. the film does not attempt to tell a story. Three shots of three situations are there. The cast and crew of the film are persons involved in Kiss of Love. The film is inspired by the story Oru Drishtantha Katha (A Moral Story) by the Malayalam writer M D Radhika.
